Dr. Zhou main research interests lie in the study of understanding
the molecular mechanism of cancer and cancer drugs. The focus of
Dr. Zhou’s research program is to define the role of microRNA-451a
in colorectal cancer and breast cancer. The ongoing research project
including 1) MiR-451a introduced ER-stress associated apoptosis in
colorectal cancer. 2) microRNA-451a is associated with ERα expression and response to tamoxifen in breast cancer. Dr. Zhou still
interesting in looking for useful content of Chinese medicine. Dr.
Zhou has published 61 refereed papers including 35 SCI papers and
12 book chapters. With her expertise, Dr. Zhou served as an
evaluation expert for China CFDA. Now she is the director of the
department of pharmacology at Sichuan University.
